Yes the pain will be due to food lodgement or any hard food biting. Go to nearby dentist for check up . If there is impacted wisdom. So go for extraction .

Sounds like you have an impacted wisdom tooth (ie the tooth is stuck within the bone) causing pain and irritation in that area.
Since that area is difficult to clean food lodgement causes inflammation and feeling that something is stuck between the teeth
Next Steps
Get an X-ray of the concerned region (ideally get an OPG)
