Is root cannal advisable for childern below 5 yrs. Doctor told to go for root canal for 3 teeths. I am bit skeptical about it. Please advice

Being a pedodontist I can advice you to go for pulpectomy or pulpotomy that your pedodontist will diagnose . Yes it's very much necessary to go for treatment as if left untreated it may can infect and damage the upcoming permanent tooth

If the teeth have a deep cavity where the nerve area is affected, then root canal treatment is the only option to save the teeth. It is not a choice. Age has nothing to do with it. It's a common treatment so don't worry.
