Sir I am under root canal treatment it requires 4 sittings today it got fina and they take cap size but while taking cap size gum beside the treated tooth bleed little bit and after that I looked very small swealling is present in gum beside the treated tooth where cap size is taken is that normal please tell

-Please share an image of the tooth with gums to give assured reason. - If its minor swelling and the bleeding was just also at the time of impression it could be because of Crown preparation (cutting) and impression. -Let the swelling reside before you get the capping done. - Do warm saline rinses ( pinch of salt in lukewarm water) 3-4 times a day. - Avoid hard brushing.

It might be due to impression tray or something but still wait for the swelling to get normal and only after that go for the crown placement ., do warm saline rinses .
