In dental colleges treatment is generally done by the students (unless it is a complicated case) so that they can learn the procedures. The materials used are average in quality. Hygiene is also not maintained properly in most cases. Unless cost of treatment is a factor for you, I would suggest you to go to a private clinic because you shouldn't compromise where your health is concerned.

College equipment and sterilization is very average quality compared to private clinic
So please spend some more money on your health but goto a private clinic next time
Dear sir , you visited to dental college so far is good for your primary consult but better to go for private clinic for root canal treatment as in dental College have limited treatment option and also u through very time consuming as takes lots of visit in college
Basically dental / medical college is meant for more of imparting knowledge to the students and they will have to acquire their skills theoretically, practically and clinically. Those patients who can really afford and affluent consult private clinics in which individual attention and care and the best services can be rendered. Most often on the contrary in a college only basic procedures can be done.
There is always a but obvious difference between getting a treatment done from college and private practice as the students generally do the procedures there.. we also have been at that position once so can understand also
