Hello Root canal treatment is better than extraction in case the tooth is not damaged beyond repair and is a functional one.Cap should be placed after RCT for the success of the treatment.Patient should visit to he dentist on regular intervals as in once in 6 months for the check up and maintain good oral hygiene.
