Reoccurring fistula
A year ago I had surgery to drain a perirectal abcess, I was fine for a while up until recently. I had a reoccurring abscess and fistula. First surgery I had a seton placed and that was only left in for about two weeks. As soon as it was removed the fistula starting leaking pus again. Second surgery was a fistulatomy, which was 3 weeks ago. Now I’m having pain in the area again with a little pus. Is this normal for recovering? The dr said I don’t need to see a specialist..and was told no Chrons.
