Gyno is saying my baby weight is increased currently I m 37 week pregnant and still head is not down. Now my gyno has given me glycomet 500 for week to take and instructed not to have rice, potato, dry fruits, protein Powder and sugery food items. A high protein and low carbohydrate diet will certainly help regulate the sugars and control it within the normal range. The baby will not loose weight and it isn't healthy for that to happen too. you are still only 37 Weeks .Increase your physical activity which will help in natural onset of labour and cause the baby s head to get fixed .
Next Steps
An Ultrasound scan will help assess the baby s weight and help decide the plan of delivery.

Metfromin (gycomet) can be tried in second trimester. But during delivery you may require insulin only. Also diabetic diet will help you definitely. Download 1800kcal diet chart from internet and follow it.
