My father had tested positive for covid 25 days back...he is all good now...but due to some tablets he had an elevated level of blood sugar in body...he got fever after that...101 and 100.0...but he tested negative for covid in rapid test...what might be the problem and he is also urinating at night very frequently up to 10 times..please tell me what the problem might be

Please check gis medication list whther he was on steroids for covid, Steroids can increase blood sugar levels..and high sugar levels can also cause frequent urination

in case he was on steroids, just talk to endocrinologist to adjust the diabetic meds . also please note that if he was not diabetic earlier, this can be a symptom of diabetes. So he needs titration of Medicarions accordingly

Hello dear In post covid recovery phase it is common to have mild fever as the viral load is still there which is not enough to be tested positive by RT-PCR. This fever may last for 10-12 days depending how fast recovery is happening.
