Related baby kidney swelling
Recently I have visited hospital for scanning and iam at 20 weeks of pregnancy then doctor told me that baby kidneys got swelling 0.3mm and 0.4 mm is it serious to baby anything happens for baby in womb

Please get your scan done after 4 weeks and ask the doctor to see specifically the size of the kidneys. You will appreciate that measuring 0.3 mm or 0.4 mm is not easy. There can be human error also. In any case it is not an indication for MTP. You will have to wait for the baby to be born and then do his sonography at one week.

Swelling greater than .5 is problem Don't worry most of the time it'll resolve by itself as gestational age passes

Repat scanafter 3 to 4 weeks in different scan center Increse in size still present consult fetal medicine specialist
