Yes scanty period might be a symptom of pcod...in case of anemia i.e low haemoglobin levels, diabetes or thyroid problems you may encounter scanty menses. It is also common in women with high levels of a protein called prolactin in their blood...it can be the side effects of certain drugs like oral contraceptives,antipsychotics,antiepileptics...also in case of stress. Need to  encounter the underlying problems via respective tests and ultrasonography . It can be reversed and treated with homeopathic medications . All the best !! Happy healing!!

I would advise you to visit a gynecologist so that you can be evaluated and undergo investigations such as ultrasound to find the underlying cause and have it treated accordingly. These steps may help maintain a regular menses: - Avoid fatty, oily, fried and junk food - Exercise regularly (minimum 30-45mins daily) - Destress yourself with practices such as yoga/meditation - Maintain a healthy body and diet - Have vegetable juices - Include corn, beets, lettuce, drumsticks, and pumpkin seeds in your daily diet - Avoid smoking and alcohol if you have the habit
