Regarding NT scan
Hello Doctor, I recently had my NT scan at 12 weeks 1 day. My report states that the Nasal Bone is 'Just Ossified'. My NT value is 1.2 mm and all other parameters, growth, and other bones are perfectly normal. The doctor has suggested a follow-up scan in 1 week to check the nasal bone again. I have a few doubts regarding this: What exactly does 'Just Ossified' mean? Does it mean the nasal bone is 'Absent' or lagging, or is it normal for this gestational age? Is there a good chance that the nasal bone will become fully ossified/normal in the 1-week follow-up scan? I am very anxious. Kindly guide me

It may be normal Just  ossified does not mean it is absent it means the dimensions that are desired are not obtained Yes there are good chances that in the next week's scan it should be seen clearly You should go with a blood test double marker test or nipt
