Regarding MetPCO Care Tablet
My wife always had regular periods since childhood. We got married in mid 2022, after which some irregularities began. A prescribed USG report showed poly follicular pattern in ovaries with 'PCO tendency'. She was occasionally prescribed medicines to regulate her periods. Recently we have started trying for pregnancy from mid 2023. As per doctors advice we tried for 6 months without any supportive medicine. After 6 months, doctor adviced us to start trying with supportive medicine. My wife was prescribed Letroz 2.5 for 5 days from Day 2 of periods for 5 days & Dubagest SR 200 from Day 16 to 25, both twice daily, with an advice to try for pregnancy from Day 13 to 20. She was also prescribed All 9 (Folate) once daily & MetPCO Care tablet twice daily. However, my wife does not want to take MetPCO Care due to some personal reasons. Is it advisable to stop MetPCO care without consulting any doctor? Will stopping it affect pregnancy? Is there any alternative to MetPCO Care? Please sugggest.
