Since 2005, almost every year I have had ECGs, echo and TMT that can normal. Till 2014, I had panic attacks, took medicines and got over it. I had ECGs, echo done in Sept, 23, TMT in November, 23 and ECG, echo done today as well on 19 Jan,24. All came normal. Since last 3 days, I am having heaviness and sharp pain in chest usually when I get up from sleep. Doctor says could be spasm in oesophagus. Many cardiologists have said it's 95 to 99 % it is not heart related still why I have these episodes where my chest hurts and have palpitations?
I had even gone for angiography at Medanta, but the Director Cardiology there, who is also former head cardiology PGI Lucknow said it's not required as 99.9% he is sure test would come normal. Should I take daily aspirin? Please guide as I feel helpless and am scared of dying at 50. I haven't done anything worth in my life yet.
