Regarding flu shot
My son is 4yrs 3months..we used to give him flu shots in sept month every year in cloud nine..this year when we consulted doctor nera our home home for flu shot, he told it's not needed if he s healthy and he doesn't recommend it..so plz let me know should I gve my son flu shots or it's not necessary to gve him..

Vaccination is for protection against specific disease. So vaccines are good to take. Influenza disease ( flu) disease is also common in India. So its good to take flu shots.

Flu shots should be given yearly till atleast 5 years of age and if any co morbidities for life. In the west, even healthy adults take yearly flu vaccines.
