hi ! definitely you can apply for maternity leave as the medical leave has been made mandatory by the govt for pregnant ladies in what ever field they might be working. for that you should approach your consulting gynaecologist, and they will give you the probable details of EDD( expected date of delivery) in written on your present reports with all your present condition of pregnancy, with which you can apply for maternity leave.
