Regarding circumsition surgery

I want to know if there are any side effects after circumsition...i need to do circumsition since i am suffering from balanitis...and there r myths that after circumsition sensation is lost due to which one cannot enjoy his sex life as before he used to enjoy...please tell me about this issue..
