Hello,
I'm feeling pain in left upper abdomen and I'm not getting gas and burp. I'm feeling it is stuck and causing this issue. Even back pain also I'm getting. If I have tea or coffee immediately I'm feeling gas. Stomach will bloat if I have coffee or tea. I have tested in lap. I have ldl 123, hdl 35.8, triglycerides 254.8, vldl 51. Please suggest any tablet to control cholesterol. My friend suggested Lipirose 10mg. 2 years back I took atorva 10mg. Which is good ?
Thank you

Looks like gastritis/GERD with bloating, worsened by tea/coffee.
Stop tea/coffee, spicy/oily food, alcohol, smoking for 1â2 weeks.
Small meals; donât lie down for 2â3 hours after food.
Consider PPI OD before breakfast for 10â14 days ± antacid/alginate after meals.
Lipids: LDL 123, TG 255, HDL low.
Lifestyle first: reduce sugar, maida, rice, fried food, alcohol; daily 30â40 min walk.
For medicine, Lipirose 10 = rosuvastatin 10 mg, stronger than Atorva 10. Can consider if risk factors present, after checking LFT, sugar/HbA1c, TSH, BP.
Red flags: severe pain, chest pain, sweating, vomiting, black stool, breathlessness.

Get an ultrasound done to rule out any renal calculi. It presents as back pain or loin to groin pain.
Get latest lipid profile done.
If you very well know tea or coffee are causing acidity, think about avoiding them and you should feel better once when you stop taking them.
Health Tips
consult for further management after getting lipid profile done
Your triglycerides at 254 and VLDL at 51 are significantly elevated, and your HDL at 35 is quite low â this combination is a meaningful cardiovascular risk that needs proper management. Your left upper abdominal pain, trapped gas, and bloating with coffee or tea suggest concurrent gastritis or functional gut irritation, which should also be addressed. Regarding cholesterol medication â choosing between different statins is not something that should be based on a friend's recommendation, as the right choice depends on your full cardiovascular risk profile, kidney and liver function, and other factors that need a doctor's evaluation.
Next Steps
Please consult a physician who can address both your GI symptoms and lipid profile together. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.
There is not only concern about your cholesterol; additional tests are needed to assess the cause of your pain and provide the most appropriate management.
