Regarding chemotherpy
Sir/ma'am My patient is oral cancer stage 4 , undergoing cisplatin weekly regime. I got to know that chemotherpy reduce blood counts, affects hearing and harm renal function also but in my patient it's all opposite. All parameters are very well in range and have improved from previous ones like hb up by 1.5 , creatinine is .80 sgpt 12 etc . Electrolyte is also in good within range. Does this mean chemotherpy is not working properly as hardly showing any effect as no symptom as of now? Kindly guide i am confused.
