Regarding benign sleep myoclonus
Hi, my 4 months old baby is shaking her legs in sleep ,not deep sleep whenever she is going to sleep or waking from sleep she is shaking her legs sometimes, is this common or not ,my pediatrician told this is benign sleep myoclonus it is not harmful like that she is saying, calcium  and random blood sugar levels is in normal limits and her weight is 6 kgs  now, birth weight is 3kggs, eeg report also came normal, how many years it will continue what is the reason for this jerks why it occurs , is there any medicines for these types of jerks ...

Nothing serious..it's normal in infant' as brain development is going on and also hypocalcimia.....if ionic calcium is normal then no need to worry....it will resolve it self in next 1 year....
