Keeping the baby upright: Holding the baby in an upright position for about 20-30 minutes after feedings can help keep food down. Burping frequently: Burping a baby during and after feedings can help release trapped air that contributes to spitting up. Avoiding overfeeding: Giving smaller, more frequent feeds may help.
