Hi, I hope you are doing well it's great to know that your HbA1c comes down and it is definitely because of the medicines but there would often be a significant amount of change in your diet also. It's logical  that you are considering reducing your medicines but it might not be the best thing to decide based on online consults. You should meet the doctor who started the medicines for you/one who treats you, because they will have a better idea about your course of illness.  Also when you go meet your doctor please have a fasting blood sugar and sugars 2 hours after your breakfast or any meal. (Don't change your diet drastically before the test)
Next Steps
Fasting and post prandial sugars Review with your regular doctor You can consult  me if you have any further queries.
