Hello
Its likely to be an umbilical granuloma. Do a USG abdomen from nearby with all safety measures and maintaining covid protocol. You have to rule out internal malformations, if any. Otherwise, dont rub or prick the area, keep it clean and dry and give your baby normal nursing care and feeding.
Next Steps
can do online consult. can consult with pediatric surgeon
It looks like an umbilical granuloma. If your baby is breast feeding well and there is no fever or discharge from the umbilicus, then there is nothing to worry. It will heal by itself. Just keep the area clean.
Next Steps
just to be sure of the diagnosis, can get an ultrasound done so that any internal malformations are not missed.
