Red skin rashes after antibiotics
Everybody in our family had constant fever between 99-100 for some days and gradually our 4 month old son also developed the same symptoms of constant fever, cough for 3 days. The doctor prescribed him Advent 200/28.5mg antibiotics, calpol paediatric drops and Kofarest -PD. Post having the 2nd dose of the antibiotics he developed red skin rashes on legs, hands and stomach. Is it a side effect ? Or is it because we gave the 2nd dose of antibiotics after only 8 hours of gap from the 1st dose? The skin rashes will it go away on its own? Note: His Mother is also having antibiotics as she was was also having the fever
