Red eye no itching
My son is 8yrs old.His eyes have become red.Today is second day.He is not having pain or itching.He keeps on watching mobile for longer hours,can it be due to that or is he having any infection.Can i put ciplox drops.

Hello
There are many causes of redness like infection, allergy, foreign body in eye, dryness etc
It's difficult to comment on real cause of dryness without evaluation
Ciplox is an antibiotic and is used for eye infection
For allergy, dryness etc it has no use

Please visit an ophthalmologist to rule out other diseases!
It may be due to long hours of mobile usage which can b resolved by using artificial tear drops

If not relieved within a day or two plz visit a local ophthalmologist
