Recurrence of vocal cord cyst

I am Oindrila,29 years old. I had vocal cord cyst 5 years back and with voice therapy I was absolutely fine. Recently, around one month back I was practicing singing and I went to high notes without proper warm up. After that I felt some discomfort and from then I am again having problems like vocal tightness and fatigue. Has my cyst recurred?

Vocal cord cyst once excised usually won't reccur. You may be having simple acute laryngitis which might have occured because of voice overuse. You may need to give some voice rest, drink sips of water, do steam inhalation for few days. If your symptoms are persistent then visit a ENT
