It is a type of imaging study of Abdomen where in patient lie in a machine and exposed to x-ray from multiple angles and fed into computer, hence called as CT or computerized tomography scan. Special dyes or contrast are given through Intestines and blood vessels to have enhanced or better characterization of various tissues during CT scan.
CT scan help doctors to diagnosis, plan treatment and follow up post treatment coarse. Here probably you are under follow up scan for surveillance or monitoring treatment.
