I need to know whether your teeth are rootcanal treated or not..if RCT was done already, you won't get any pain during the procedure.. And, why do u want to recrown teeth?? Aren't they looking good?? Remember, there are always chances of getting the teeth broken during the process of removal of old crowns..

Hi,there shall be no pain or any discomfort while getting the crowns removed, and there would be no need to get RCT done again if it is okay radiographically.

Get an X-ray done of the teeth. If there is no evidence of infection you can go ahead with replacing your old crowns. The crowns will have to be cut and removed. It is a slightly long sitting but not painful at all.
