I am sorry to say that it isn’t curable disease. Once you have developed diabetes, you are going to live with it for the rest of your life. Only one place where you might say that it is curable is where the diabetes is the result of you being overweight. You did not mention anything about your weight ; I presume you are of normal weight . For your age and with no family history, I will ensure you don’t have type 1 diabetes which needs insulin right from the onset and not type 2 which is often need treatment with tablets. Discuss wit the doctor and get started on appropriate treatment to prevent complications.
Once you get you sugar under control and keep it that way it is as good as having a cure.
