Usually , pill can cause hormonal imbalance , as it has dose of Progesterone , which must have postponed your date . .i Advice you to wait till your next cycle . If you still have intermittent bleeding ,meet your gynaecologist . When you plan to take pill get it prescribed by your dr and don’t take it on your own .

Emergency pill can make the periods irregular as it is a high dose of hormones. Just wait for your next periods , they will be back on track again and use a regular method of contraception.
Next Steps
Visit a gynaecologist for advice on a regular method of contraception rather than using emergency pill repeatedly

Hello.. Don’t worry.. Often the periods are irregular for first few months following intake of emergency contraceptive pills.. Just wait & watch . If the problem persists, 3 to 4 cycles of low dose combined oral contraceptive pills can be taken..
