Reaction to medicine

Medicine side effects This is consultation for my dad. He visited a doctor for some muscle and joint pain in his legs and he was prescribed few medicine that had side effects like sudden weight gain and swelling in legs.I have upload the prescription. He has stopped the medication He is currently out of town what should he do for the swelling. Thanks
