Hello visit as your tooth rc treated we have to check for infection status and the reamaining tooth structure. Clinical examination required. Result to save the tooth depends above status
Yes rc treated teeth can be saved easily. Once the infection should be cured then if there is neeed of rct dentist will repeat the rct and then post can be put into that tooth and after then tooth build up
An x Ray will reveal whether re RCT is needed/ or helpful. In case of reinfection a reRCT may be done. If the tooth is weak and/or fractured, then we may have to remove the tooth. We always recommend RCT treated teeth to be capped.

If you have infection and again and pain in same rct treated tooth then there are chances that rct was not proper you might go for re rct and safe it
And course of antibiotics is needed to cure infection
