Radiation dose
I had undergone unnecessary 2 ct scans in 5 months.
CECT abdomen pelvis and ct scan of nose.
Both are normal.
(Pre contrast arterial venous coronal and sagittal images are taken)
But I'm concerned about radiation please help.
And what is radiation dose of CECT abdomen pelvis (pre contrast arterial venous phase)

We cannot say exact dose..as dose depends on tube setttings and operating machine settings..
Though normal scans might have been done for a purpose ..so stop worrying about dose and risk..
Diagnostic imaging always follows a principle benefit outweighs risk..

Why were the scans done? Please share reports.
Dont worry about the radiation exposure. 2 scans is not worrisome
