Radiation dose
I had undergone 2 unnecessary ct scans in 5 months. CECT abdomen pelvis and ct scan of nose both are normal but I'm concerned about radiation. In CECT abdomen pelvis pre contrast arterial venous coronal and sagittal images are taken. I'm concerned about radiation please help.

A typical CT scan abdomen pelvis   and head delivers effective radiation dose of approximately 10 mSv and 2  mSv , respectively . Well, according to NCRP guideline limits the effective dose 5 mSv per year for general population, whereas ICRP also limits 5mSv in a single year
Next Steps
what you can do  is limit further exposure in over the next 5 years as low as possible.
