Rabies scare through scratch
Hi sir/mam,  the stray cat that scratched with her paw (no bite )me 7 days ago is still ok and healthy , also I took anti rabies vaccine 10 hours after the scratch and clean the wound with betadine and washed it , can i rule out that it had rabies , also how long should I monitor her . Picture shows fresh injury, now it's healed, did not drew much blood just 2 3 drops. Really anxious about it as this disease is fatal and it scares me a bit.

Normally we want to watch the animal for 10 days. After that if animal is healthy then it means that it didn't have rabies. So you can discontinue Antirabies vaccine. But by that time people get three doses.
