My dog had come in contact with street dogs few days ago I didn't saw any bite on him but I guess my dog might have licked other street dogs saliva. A day after this incident my pet dog licked my open deep fresh wound which was bleeding. So will that rabies present in saliva licked by my dog still be present inside his mouth when he licked my open bleeding fresh wound after a day of encounter with street dogs. 3 months before this incident I had taken 3 dose of arv Vaccine on 0 .4. 8 days and wasn't able to take it on 0. 3. 7 days as got delayed by 1 day.so will I need more vaccine?? Would that rabies present in saliva inside my dog mouth be present after a day of this incident???
