Question regarding COVID Vaccination
Hello I'm from Mumbai. My sister suffered from MoyaMoya disease at the age of 14, underwent left and right anastomosis back then. Since then, she has recovered but now 28yrs old, she is still under Ecosprin 150 medication. Is it safe for her to take COVID Vaccination? It'd be really kind of you to answer. Thanks in advance.

The MHRA, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the World Health Organisation have all said that the Oxford/AstraZeneca Vaccine is safe and that the benefits continue to outweigh the risks. The benefits of receiving the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine far outweigh any risks, even for people under the age of 30 or with underlying health conditions, which includes stroke survivors.  Past surgical procedures are not a contraindication as such. All contraindications and complications applicable to common public will be applicable.
