I am getting evening rise of fever from past few months and now it is intermittent. My mantoux test and ESR reports are attached herewith for your perusal please. I have also suffered a weight loss of 12 kgs in the year from March2017- July2018. I had typhoid and since then my health conditions has not been up to the mark.
My Chest X ray is normal and I don't have cough at all so I couldn't go for sputum for AFB.
My MRI spine and brain are also normal.
I have pain in my hip region and at the tail end of the spine. Can tuberculosis occur in hip region ?
If there is tuberculosis in my body, how to find out ?
My USG abdomen and UGIE is also normal.
Few doctors have blindly advised me to go for an empirical treatment and prescribed me two tablets of Forecox but on second opinion the other doctors said to not to take the same as it could harm me.
I am left confused and I don't know what should be done to diagnose tuberculosis ?
I have bony pain everywhere in my body and thighs fell heavy
