QUERY REGARDING STOOL OCCULT BLOOD
My mother has Hb 10.2 and she went for stool occult blood and it was positive. Reports attached.
However, the color of her stool is normal brown.
She is having no stomach ache and nothing.
What should we do now?

U should meet a Gastroenterologist and consider doing UGI endoscopy and colonoscopy if ur mother is having anemia with Stool OB positive.

She is 66 year right ( Risk of Colon cancer is there at this age )
Is she taking any iron or meat ?
If yes stop that for 3 days and than repeat this test ( Note Go for just Stool for occult test from a trusted lab )
If second sample is positive too
That means she is loosing blood from intestine
If constipation / weight loss present-
Colonoscopy ideally and if normal endoscopy
If you are apprehensive about the covid
CT enterography with rectal contrast is best to clear your doubt
