Putting pressure while passing urine
My girl baby who is 3.5 months old is putting little pressure while passing urine everytime.
We took a urine analysis test and found that pH value is at 8 ( reference range mentioned in report is 4.5 to 7.5.) Does this indicate any health issue on her?

In female children because of short urethra being in close proximity of anus the fecal contamination resulting into UTI is common . But the pus cell value which you have provided does not qualify it to call UTI . Kindly give more fluids to your daughter , preferably Neebu paani also to keep the urine acid to prevent bacterial growth. More fluids in itself will take away symptoms of burning . Do ensure that there is no abrasion crested by harsh wiping . Also to prevent UTI we must wash the anal area separately to remove feces & wash the urethra area with clean hands & running water. This is practical , not complicated as it may sound . This is the best prevention in female babies

Agree with Dr. Sakuntala except for fluids part. As baby is only 3.5 months you should give only breast feeding. Dont give any other fluids not even water till 6 months.
Send complete report. If the problem is persisting she may require antibiotics.

Send urine report once ,is there difficulty in passing stool , is baby breast fed or formula fed.
