Hello.. i am a mother of 2 months old baby.. i have got hard lump in my right breast.. the doctor did pus culture test and gave me antibiotics accordingly.. she said if it doesn't subside with medicines will have to remove it by a small cut.. please suggest ways by which i can avoid the surgery.. can i do hot compress on the affected area? will it help..??

Ideally this would have started as a breast engorgement that time if you would have used hot fementation it would have worked. In case of of this kind of lump in the breast especially in a feeding mother antibiotics should not be used. After using the antibiotics it will turn into an antibiotic which has to be removed
