Today my 5 year old puppy was bitten by street dog. Her wound is little deep at her thigh side. Kindly suggest any good ointment

Clip the hair around the wound and then clean with betadine liquid and cotton swab. Then apply mupirocin cream on the wound. Get a TT and post bite vaccination done with oral antibiotics

Since it is a stay dog bite, the first thing we need to do is wash the area thoroughly and clean the wound with betadine and get him to the nearby veterinary doctor for antirabies vaccination and TT injection. After checking the wound, the doctor may prescribe you antibiotics since the bite wounds get easily infected. As for ointment, you can use any standard antibiotic cream like betadine/ cipladine or T bac/ staphban

Wash the wound well with cipladine scrub thoroughly along with normal saline and apply cipladine lotion along with betadine ointment
Needs antibiotics as well
Post bite antirabies vaccine
And TT injection
