When thousands of scientific studies have shown that Homoeopathy, Ayurveda and other Alternative medicines have absolutely no evidence that they work, why are they promoted by the health industry? Why don't doctors protest against it?

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
For certain things ayurveda does work.
Ayurveda and homeopathy are alive on the allegations that allopathy has side effects.
Its not true. Everything has side effects. Even breathing has side effects because we could be inhaling harmful gases but that doesn't mean one stops breathing.
Many people are willing to spend loads of money and time on things which dont work in the effort to avoid side effects but eventually they make their health worse by delaying allopathic treatment and end up spending even more later.
Also, ayurvedic and homeopathy is widely advertised and many are scams, people tend to fall for this.
Doctors cannot stop people from believing what they want and which treatment they want.
Therefore nothing can be done.
Best regards.
Dr. Anil kumar jain.
Bangalore.
