Promethazine abbott syrup ( Phenergan )
Hi all I have 3.5 month old baby my paediatric doctor prescribed promethazine abbott syrup for cough and cold. 1.5 ml two times 5 days. I already given all the doses. Randomly i googled about this surup. It's says, shouldn't given for under 2 year old baby. Because it's affect brain nervous system. I got panic . I am very much worried. Please guide me. Now what to do?

As you have already stopped the medicine and any is well now you don’t New’s to panic.But Please see to that its not given in the future.You can discard the medicine.Long term effects are less common. the drug in her system would have come down and she will be fine hopefully

Yes don't give that's very harmful to baby stop it immediately Just put Nasoclear nasal drops 2drops in both nostrils every 6th hourly for 3 days
