Problem behing the knee
Suddenly any time my father feels unbearable pain behind the knee, but not in the bone. May be due to veins. But the pain is really unbearable and long for few hours. But when he touches his knee, bones there is no pain.

It might be possible. Might be issues with varicose veins. Perform ankle, toe movements(up-down) to him if he is unable to do it. It helps to improve the circulation.
