Hello. My doctor prescribed to me a medication called Metoprolol tartrate. My heart rate is irregular and high. She had prescribed another medicine just called metoprolol about 2 weeks ago but didn’t work. I researched this medicine and it says not take if you have thyroid problems which I have. What do I do?

Is your thyroid controlled? When was the last time you got it checked. There is possibility that your heart rhythm problem is connected with thyroid.
