I was supposed to get my period 4 days ago...it has always been irregular...but I am worried because I have been having unprotected sex. I had a pregnancy test on the 24th and it was negative but had sex on the 17th, obviously too early for a pregnancy test right?

Yes it's too early to go for the tests , suggest u repeat test after a week or ten days if no periods show up.
