Pregnant and Thailand

Asked for Female, 22 Years

Hello, i am almost 8 weeks pregnant and meant to be travelling to Thailand next week. My rubella immunity has come back at 17. so my doctor has said not to go. But i am just wanting another opinion as to if the risk is high of me actually catching that in thailand or if theres any precautions i can take so that i dont get it? i have been to thailand twice in the last 2 years and bali about 4 times and never got it. Should i just not go to thailand??
