Pregnancy with fibroid and pcos
Hi..I am 31 year old female..conceived first tym..I have PCOS also n am 6 week pregnant..in my last sonography I found there is a anterior wall intramural fibroid measuring 14.2*12.2mm...does this fibroid affect my pregnancy ever...is it harmful?...if it is in what way...does it dangerous for life of me or my child?..

It’s a small fibroid . But these fibroid grow due to the hormone ( oestrogen) . . Usually , early complication is miscarriage . In your case as it is very small the chances of abortion is very less. You may have pain occasionally . It will not affect your baby growth . Just go along , and don’t stress yourself. Do regular Follow up . And discuss with your doctor in detail .

It depends where the pregnancy gets implanted. You will come to know the situation at 12weeks Sonography for NT scan. Fibroid grow little during pregnancy. It can cause some pain ,otherwise single fibroid should not be a problem.
