First thing to do is to stop worrying..
The chance of pregnancy per cycle with regular unprotected intercourse is 20% & at the end of 1 year is about 80% ..
So there is nothing to worry, do planned intercourse during the fertile period & with each month the pregnancy chance increases ..
However i will suggest you to go for preconceptional counselling & to start folic acid as you are trying to conceive.
