My girlfriend and I had an sexual encounter on day 19 of her cycle. She usually has a 30 to 31 days of cycle. The penetration was partial for a very brief time like 30 seconds and there was no ejaculation inside. Also, she took i pill the next morning.
Should we be worried, what are the next steps to be taken?

In a 30 day cycle fertile period is between day 8 day 18
In a 31 day cycle it is between day 9 to day 19
So that could be her fertile period
Emergency pills have a very high failure rate and the patient can be pregnant despite one
Also they are known to cause delayed periods
Pre ejaculatory secretions may also contain semen
So you will have to wait till the next date of periods to find out
